The Noc luxury deck is stunningly beautiful. I ordered it before the normal Noc, out of ignorance, and when it came in I was perplexed. It comes in a textured case, and the cards are lovely. I since purchased some basic Noc’s, and these are named correctly, they are nicely done. That being said, I’m a normal Noc type of person, not a luxury Noc. I just didn’t realize the differences were in the beauty of the card. (Long story, but I thought the markings were different). So, it comes in and I don’t know if it is normal because its luxury or what, but my deck had no key card, and no video address for understanding the system. So I stare at the backs….and I stare. Nothing. I truly cannot detect anything. In fact, if I was taken to court, I’d swear they weren’t marked. I could tell nothing. I tried with no avail for several hours to discern what was happening, and then my pride gave way and I searched the interweb. I was shocked. I’ve since been studying them, for weeks now, but I must admit my mind is not quick enough for me to ever perform with these. It’s just too hidden, and there’s too many places I have to stare at to get my answer. If I can’t glimpse it, I can’t use it. If I have to stare holes into the back, then I can never make these public. Even so, I admire what they did and how these are made. I do also use them, just not exactly as marked cards. I bring them forward, and if I can determine it quickly, then great, but the most I dare to get so far is the suit. It is neat to be able to do that, but I don’t depend on getting it, if you know what I mean. If I can get it, great, but if not I don’t stare a hole into it. The possibility for reading it is there for me, and I like that, but I wouldn’t dare use them and depend on me reading them. I do however continue to study them. And if you’re sharp of eyes andquick of mind, these are intense. Also, if you do pause and look at cards, and play up using mental powers, it could work. It could also work with calling the suits, I think, even for an average handler. Just realize, the marking can be really hard to glimpse quickly, luxury or not. At least, it’s hard for me. Even so, I love them and will keep trying to study them. I’m impressed by them. For now though, they are just my little secret, I am not able to exercise their full powers yet.
