Note from designer (Marci Brinker) : I\'ve been a graphic designer/illustrator for many years and I\'m always working to improve my skills. I have been striving to work on more personal art projects in my free time. I\'ve always wanted to design my own deck of cards because of the unique challenge it presents to create that many individual, yet unified, pieces of art. This idea came to me when I was re-reading one my favorite novels, \"American Gods\" by Neil Gaiman, even though only a few of the gods depicted in the deck are actually gods mentioned in the book. Pages of sketches, hours of research, many long evening hours of working in Adobe Illustrator over the course of several months, and the deck was finally complete. This deck represents a lot of time and thought over the last 8 or 9 months, and with your help, we can make it a reality!
